he Hermit is the Arcana of solitude, perseverance, discretion and caution. Drawing this 9th Arcana is a sign that the pace of every project and achievement will slow down. It is a stumbling block before any hope or expectation.This card represents enlightenment from quiet solitude and contemplation.Sometimes this wil come from study and education. The colour of the staff implies enlightenment and wisdom gained from insight, intuition and quiet solitude. The number 9 of course is all about intuition, enlightenment, spiritual development, compassion. The 9 is universal love and giving to others and the spiritual growth that comes from this.
